When the Software Request Portal initiates a workflow thread, it populates the Work Log variables according to the following table. These variables may be used in email templates and other places.

The Gen 2 Software Request Portal also populates these user defined variables in the thread:

VOrderInfo |
HTML-formatted table that represents the order area from the last screen on the portal. This is controlled by the portal designer, but usually contains the title, quantity, and price to be charged for each line item, as well as the request total. |
vReqType |
1 if the request is for workstation software. 2 if the request is for server software. |
