The Software Request Portal is the prescribed channel for authorizing MSL applications to be installed on hardware assets.  The portal allows any user with internet access to request up to 10, or 20 (depending on the generation of the portal in use) MSL applications for installation on a given asset at a time.  The Software Request Portal is designed as a wizard, guiding the end user through the multi-step process of requesting MSL software.

NOTE - The Software Request Portal, generation 1 will only work with MSL titles that have been set to be authorized to a device.
