Threads

A thread is a single instance of a workflow.  A workflow defines how work will be handled, similar to a process diagram.  A thread represents a single piece of work moving through the defined workflow.  There may be any number of threads currently in progress for a given workflow, each at a different step in the process.

Each thread is identified by a unique number assigned by the MIE.  The primary purpose of the thread is to maintain the History Log, SQL Logs, and Work Log.

Given sufficient access, threads can be viewed by selecting Workflows from the left menu under Workflow Automation, then Threads from the fly-out menu.
