The Work Log is maintained automatically by the MIE for each workflow thread.  The Work Log maintains several sections which the workflow engine uses to keep track of events that happen during the thread's existence.  The Work Log is maintained in text and is somewhat readable from that point of view.  However, the Work Log contains special formatting that allows the workflow engine to parse and extract information that is used by subsequent Process Points.

Given sufficient access, the Work Log may be viewed by editing a thread record.  Threads are read-only.  Threads may be accessed via Workflow Automation, by choosing Workflow from the black-bar menu, then Threads from the left menu.
