Some MSL items may be defined as being able to be removed by Electronic Software Distribution.  When the MSL item is harvested from an asset, it will be scheduled with APS or via WDA and workflow (depending on settings) for automated removal.  You will be notified by the Catch Point harvest screen which harvested items (if any) will be scheduled for automated removal.  Those that cannot be removed automatically must be removed manually (to prevent unwanted reclamation).

Some types of harvest will not trigger automated removal.  The following harvest events will not trigger automated removal:

1. Harvesting of a non-MSL title

2. Harvesting due to removing an alias from recognition.
