When the Charge Per setting is set to something other than -One Time Charge-, the MIE will calculate a price based on the start and end dates of the entitlement.  The start and end dates will be calculated based on the settings in the entitlement definition record.

If the start date is referenced to an optional anniversary date (per the settings - be certain the settings are correct when using an anniversary date), then the MIE will calculate the most recent anniversary date as the start date (unless otherwise specified).

Unless a special charging scheme has been selected (via the settings), the MIE calculates the number of Charge Per periods that exist between the start and end dates.  The number of periods is then multiplied by the result of the market and/or charge price (depending on how the MIE has been set to charge) and depending on whether or not the entitlement prices represent percentages of the license price or not.
