Step 4 (optional) - Set up Credentials

By default, the ESI Server Scanner runs under the Local System account, which is the default account for the ESISchedulerService Windows service. If this account has sufficient privileges to access your network, you will not need to enter alternate credentials and may skip this step. Otherwise, you must enter a local or domain account and password. Configure the ESISchedulerService Windows service to run under a sufficiently privileged account as follows: On the machine that is running ESI Server Scanner, find the Windows service named ESISchedulerService on the Services page in Computer Management, Services and Applications, Services. On the Log On tab, you will find a place to enter the name and password of the account to be used for running the scanner.

Note:  This optional step is done on the machine on which the ESI Server Scanner will be running.
