Troubleshooting

If troubleshooting is required, you may find the Event Log useful, especially the custom application event log called ESISchedulerLog, which logs errors detected in the WDA scheduler.

Note:  The event log will be found on the machine on which the ESI Server Scanner is running.

Another source for troubleshooting is the ESI Server Scanner’s log, which is regenerated every time it runs. This log can be found in the ESI\ESIServerScan\logs folder in the program files directory of the machine on which ESI Server Scanner is running. This log is also useful for determining the health of the scanning system, and should be viewed periodically.
