Status Values

Software requests are updated with status values at various points within the approval cycle.  The following status values are maintained with each software request:

Status

Definition

SUBMITTED

Initial status when request entry is first created.  

ACTIVE

Request has been successfully handed off to the work flow engine and a work flow thread has been created to handle the approval cycle.  (Only applies to requests that have at least one item that requires approval).

APPROVED

Reply has been received as approved or the request did not require approval and was completed by the user.

DENIED

Reply has been received as denied.

EXPIRED

Request was not replied to before the expiration date.  Once expired, any reply will be ignored (the request is essentially "dead" once it has been set to expired).
