Mass Update is performed on a single field at a time, however the operation may be repeated against the same scope of records for as many fields as have been defined as allowing mass updates.

Step 1

Begin by selecting from the list of fields that have been defined as allowing mass updates.

Step 2

Continue by entering, or selecting, the new value to be written to the target field.

Step 3

Finish by clicking "Go" and acknowledging the warning.

If successful, all records in scope of the currently set filter will have the target field updated with the value that was entered/selected in Step 2.

All changes to current values in the target field will be logged to the change log.

A record of the mass update operation will be logged to the job log.
