Mass Updates

The MIE allows multiple records to be updated in a single operation using the user interface.  To perform a mass update, the following conditions must be met:

1.Your access level must be equal to or higher than the access level required to perform mass updates or the target data entry screen.

2.There must be at least one field on the target data entry screen that has been set to allow mass updates.

3.You may select individual rows or use a filter to identify a set of rows to be updated.

4.When a filtered set or rows is used, you may update all of the rows or select some rows to be updated.

5.The number of rows in the current filter set, or the number of individually selected rows must be less than the value of Max Records Update/Delete system setting (usually 2,500).

If those criteria are met, then the "Mass Update" hyperlink will appear in the Actions area of the screen (top right).  Click the link to perform the function.
