Filtering with special characters:

There are certain special characters that are used by SQL as wildcards. When any of these are used for filtering – either using the filter option or in recognition training, it may be likely that you would not get the desired results. The list of these characters are as below:

| – pipe character

( ) – Open and closed curved brackets

{ } – Open and closed curly brackets

[ ] – Open and closed square brackets

; – Semi Colon

_ – Underscore

% – Percentage sign
