The MIE supports change logging.  Any field on any screen can be set (by an administrator) to log changes.  In addition, tables that have been defined to the MIE (for import) can be set to require change logging.  Import and Consolidate honor change logging.  Changes are logged field by field.  When a change is logged, the table, field, old value, new value, date, and how the data was changed are all logged.  This allows full traceability of how data changed and is present throughout the MIE.

The Change Log is viewable through reporting, and is available as a report in all modules.

Most screens support restoring from the Change Log.

The Change Log is kept trimmed, so changes must be restored prior to being removed from the log due to age.
