Most data entry screens support restoring data from the Change Log.

The MIE logs many changes to the Change Log.  All changes made by Consolidate, Import, and Mass Updates are logged to the Change Log, as are select fields on the User Interface.  Since the Change Log would continue to grow without bounds, and since it potentially contains a large amount of data, is is kept trimmed to the last 90 days of activity.

If a screen supports restoring from the Change Log, you will see a Restore link in the Actions area of the screen (near the top right).  You must have local administrative access (or higher).

The Restore link allows many changes to be restored at once.  You may also restore individual changes to any given record when you are editing the record.  Click on the blue reverse arrow that is displayed to the right of most fields on the screen and you will be presented with the change log entries for that record and field combination.  Follow the instructions on screen to restore one of the previous values.
