Harvested Software Table (ATdataHarvestedSW)

The Harvested Software Table contains all software licenses, with information that associates those licenses that have been allocated to the authorizations to which they have been allocated.  The table is divided into two sides as follows:

Harvest Event

(Licenses owned)

Deploy Event

(Instances deployed)

The Harvest Event side maintains traceability to a specific license or block of licenses (license Units)  that was purchased or otherwise designated as owned.  Licenses are allocated via the MIE's automated allocation engine.  The Deploy Event side keeps track of instances that are deployed within the environment.  When both sides of the table are filled in for any given record, that indicates an instance of MSL software that is both deployed and covered by one or more license units.  When the Harvest Event side is filled in and the Deploy Event side is not, that indicates a license or block of licenses that is available to be used.  When the Deploy Event side is filled in and the Harvest Event side is not, that indicates an instance of MSL software that is deployed (and in use) that has not yet been covered with sufficient license Units.

If you have been granted proper access, the Harvested Software Table can be viewed through the  Asset Management module's page.  Select the Harvested Software child menu option from the Managed Software left menu.  The grid that displays shows the Harvested Event along side the Deployed Event.  It allows you to quickly see software records in each of the three states mentioned above.  To view the record in more detail, click Edit.

The Harvested Software Table contains records that are automatically added by the MIE's allocation engine and cannot be changed nor deleted.
