Clearing Stuck Packages

From time to time software delivery jobs are staged for APS and those jobs, for whatever reason, fail to be pushed.  Sometimes the reason can be that APS has stopped working.  Always check the status of APS first when jobs appear to be stuck.

To view individual jobs that are waiting in the queue to be pushed, and to remove jobs that are obviously stuck, choose the APS Pending Packages fly-out menu option from the Settings/Admin left menu option available under Asset Management.  (You must have sufficient access to see this menu option.)

The packages that are waiting to be pushed are displayed in chronological order.  Where available, a message is shown to depict why the package may still be waiting to be pushed.  In some cases, it is prudent to cancel the push by clicking on the corresponding Remove button.

Clicking the Remove button only cancels the attempt to push the package - it does not affect the status of the authorization.
