The MIE leverages its built-in Geo-Location capability to automatically determine an asset's location based on its public IP address.  The WDA returns both the local and public IP address (if they differ) of the assets it scans, which enables this capability.  Any auto-discovery that can return the public IP address of an asset can also be used to leverage this capability.

The geo-location of the asset is recorded in the asset table and can be viewed from the Demographics tab.  It is updated each time WDA reports in, or each time a new auto-discovery feed is loaded.
