Consolidate does much of the processing of upgrade license types.  Generally, an upgrade license is a cheaper way to purchase the current license, extending a discount to those who had previously purchased an authorization for one or more qualifying earlier versions.

Consolidate handles upgrade license types when they are presented as new licenses, either through the ASN Processor or through the Manage Licenses screen.

Consolidate also handles extending upgrade pricing to users of the Bulk Harvest screen as well as the Software Request Portal.
