Unassigned aliases that are unlikely to be assigned to any MSL titles now or in the future may be hidden from view to ease in the task of assigning recognition.  When an unassigned alias has been marked as hidden, it can be viewed by checking the Show hidden checkbox and clicking Get Aliases.  It is still available to be assigned for recognition, it is just removed from viewing (when Show hidden is unchecked).

To hide unassigned aliases, select one or more (by holding down the CTRL key while clicking multiple entries from the unassigned aliases section).  Once selected, click the Hide button.
