Actions

You must select an action to be performed on each record that participates in the duplicate group.  The following actions are available:

Definition

Keep

The record that will be kept.  All merge records will be merged into this record.  There must be one (and only one) record marked as keep.

Merge

One or more records may be marked as merge.  If a record is marked as merge, then any column that is populated in the merge record that is not populated in the keep record will be copied to the keep record.  In the event there are two or more merge records that have information, then the information from the most recent record (based on creation date) will be taken.  If the column in the merge record contains a value that matches one of the defined blank phrases, it will be treated as if it is blank (and not copied to the keep record).  Any blank column in the keep record that is numeric and for which no information is available in any of the merge records, will be filled with a value of zero (0).  After all possible information is merged, all records marked merge will be deleted.

Remove

Any record marked remove will simply be deleted.
