Resolving Duplicates

Some forms on the MIE offer the ability to check for and resolve duplicate records.  Duplicates can occur for many different reasons, the most common being assigning different identification numbers to the same asset.

If the form has been defined to support checking for an resolving duplicates, and if you have sufficient access, you will see an Action of "Check Dups" in the Actions area of the form.

Clicking on Check Dups will cause the form to change to checking duplicates mode.
