The following matrix describes the data points used for calculating the license units required for Oracle by Processor. Oracle uses a Core Factor Table and the processor manufacturer is used to perform the look-up into that table. Oracle also allows sub-capacity licensing, but only if the physical machine is hard-partitioned using a hypervisor recognized by Oracle as capable of hard-partitioning.
