The MIE offers the ability to monitor MSL usage on a authorization-by-authorization basis.  To do this requires that you have the ESI Workstation Data Assistant (WDA) installed on the workstations to be monitored.  When the WDA is installed, however, you may set the MIE to perform various tasks if usage falls below a specific utilization target.

The WDA Usage Monitor "watches" two specific types of utilization:

Running - the monitored task is running in the user's task list at the time of sampling.

Active - the monitored task is actively being used by the user at the time of sampling.
