The MIE will automatically strip the tag that Microsoft's Outlook will insert in reply emails, used to identify the individual who made an edit to the original message body.  Such tags typically are embedded in square brackets and contain the individual's name.  The MIE will ignore such tags, so they do not have to be removed before sending the reply.
