Disposal orders are not initially sourced from feeds but are typically created manually using the MIE, or via a workflow.  Once a disposal order request has been approved through the associated workflow, or manually entered via Asset Management, the disposals are visible in Asset Management from the Disposals menu item.

Disposal Number

The MIE assigns a unique disposal number to each disposal request.        

Order Status

Specifies the current status for the disposal order.  Status values are defined when the system is initially set up.

Disposal Locations

The locations drop-down list box will display only locations that have a Disposal Item associated with it.   Location values are expected to be fed via the various disposal items feeds.

Assigning Disposal Items

Once a location has been selected, one or more Disposal Items can be assigned to the disposal order.  Only those items that have yet to be assigned to a disposal order located at the disposal location that was selected will be visible.
