This step allows sort choices to be modified and/or added. Sort choices allow the user to select how the report will be sorted.
The following settings are available:
Sortings |
Choose an existing sort (to modify), or select -Add New- to add a new sort. When choosing an existing sort, the current information will be populated and can then be edited. |
Description |
A description of the sort. This will be displayed to the end user in the list of sorting choices available when the report is being prepared. |
SQL ORDER BY |
The actual ORDER BY syntax, minus the words "ORDER BY". Supports tags. |
NOTE - to save changes you must click the Save button. For Scopings, Sortings, and Export Fields changes are not automatically saved when moving between wizard steps.
