Undoing a Restoration

If you make a mistake by performing a restoration, the entire restoration can be undone.  This is because restoration changes are also logged to the change log.

Each restoration event is assigned a job number.  This job number is visible in the Method setting, allowing you to narrow your restoration consideration to just changes made by any given restoration event.

Therefore, to undo a restoration, perform another restore and narrow your restoration consideration to just those changes made by the restoration job you are trying to undo.

If you are uncertain of the job number that was assigned to the restoration event you are trying to undo, find the event in the Job Log.  The job number is written as part of the results of the restoration to the Job Log.
