Credit/Debit transactions that are logged automatically by the MIE to the adjustments table are marked with a status code which is updated automatically by the MIE.
Credit/debit adjustments entered manually using the User Interface are automatically marked with a status of "Ready to Process", meaning the adjustment will be picked up on the next credits/debits run.
The status code is visible via the User Interface. A credit/debit transaction may be in one of the following states:
Abandoned - Check for Charged |
A staged credit that required checking to make sure the authorization had been charged failed the check, and more than 30 days have passed since the credit had been staged to be checked. Since it is very unlikely, after that amount of time, for this credit to satisfy the condition of having been charged, the credit has been abandoned. Usually, when abandoned, another credit that satisfies the original criteria is substituted, if available. |
