Setting up an Export Job

An Export, whether on demand or timed, is defined as a job.  The job defines important parameters that the MIE uses during the Export function, and can be used to perform the same export on a recurring basis.

To define a job, start by clicking Import/Export from the left menu of Home page of the current module.  If  you do not see an Import/Export button, it may be because the module you are using does not offer an export function, or it may be because you do not have the required privileges.  Local administrative access is normally required for import and export functions.  Please check with your system administrator or system manager.  If you have local administrative access but do not see Import/Export as a Home page menu item, then switch modules and check there.
