Option Help

The MIE supports a feature called Option Help, which shows on the user interface as MyHelp.  Option Help is nothing more than a help web site that is hosted on the MIE in a certain area that makes it customer and option specific.  For instance, if customer XYZ wanted to host a specific set of work instructions for their asset management program, they can ask ESI to place their web content in their option help area for the Asset Management MIE option.  Once hosted, any time a user goes to the Asset Management option in the MIE, MyHelp will display as a link in the upper right region of the user interface.  Clicking that link will take the user to the customer's specific help site.  In addition, there are general tags that can be referenced in catch point screens, data entry screens, and other areas of the MIE that allow for Option Help links to be inserted.  For example, Option Help links that might take a user directly to a specific work instruction can be inserted using the proper general tags on various catch point screens, allowing the user to access the work instruction directly from the catch point screen.
