Workflow is best viewed and constructed visually. Therefore, the MIE features a downloadable companion application called the Graphical Workflow Designer (GW). This companion application can be downloaded from the Workflow screen (click Workflow from the left menu of the Workflow Automation tab). The link to download and use the Graphical Workflow Designer can be found near the top of the page.

Once downloaded and installed, the Graphical Workflow Designer runs on your workstation, and will communicate directly with the MIE. You can set a shortcut to the Graphical Workflow Designer and place that shortcut on your desktop. Once installed, you do not have to be logged into the MIE via your browser to design and manage workflows - that can be done directly from the Graphical Workflow Designer.
