Favorites

A Favorite report is one for which the scoping and sorting options have been previously set and saved. Favorites allow one-click reporting and are usually used for frequently-produced reports.

Favorites are based on the user - one person's favorites are not visible to another.

Favorite reports may be accessed by clicking on the Favorites link located in the Actions area (near the top right of the page).

To define a Favorite report, first set the report up to be produced by choosing any scoping and/or sorting options.  Before clicking the Go button, check the box entitled Save as a Favorite report.  You must also give your favorite report a nickname.  Then click Go.  The report will be produced and saved as a Favorite.

Optionally, you may choose to share your Favorite with users at or above a specific access level.  If you wish to share your favorite, select the minimum access level with which you would like to share before clicking Go.  Shared Favorites will be visible to all users with the required access any place where they can view Favorite reports.

Favorite reports can be set to be automatically produced and distributed on a timed basis.
