The Harvested Software table is a transaction-oriented record of software activity.  It is the one table that can be queried to determine current compliance levels, available licenses, and the history of each individual Managed Software List item.

Each record in the Harvested Software table is a paired set of transactions - the harvest event and the subsequent deploy event of a given software item.  Once both events have been recorded, the record is completed and a new record will be created to track the software item into the next phase of its life cycle.

A software item may exist in one of several states within the Harvested Software table.  Each state can be identified depending on values present, or not, in various columns.  Refer to Record States for details.
