Image

The chart is rendered as a static image.  This is the default as it works with all browsers.

ActiveX

The chart will be rendered as a Microsoft ActiveX target.  This requires the use of browsers that support ActiveX (Microsoft's Internet Explorer) as well as the ability to accept and install the ActiveX plug-in (the browser will prompt you the first time you attempt to access an ActiveX-style chart).  Charts rendered in ActiveX allow for interaction, such as displaying counts when hovering over various chart elements, and also right clicking on the chart itself and changing its style and other attributes.

Flash

If supported by the browser, the chart will be rendered in Flash format.  

SVG

If supported by the browser, the chart will be rendered in Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) format.
