For some modules, there may be the option of printing labels.  Labels are generally bar coded, with built-in identifiers known as "preceder" codes to allow compatible bar code scanners to recognize not only the value, but the field to which the value belongs.

Labels can be produced by selecting Labels from the Actions area of the Reports screen.  The screen will change to show the options available for printing labels.
